A set of four late 1960s or early 1970s vintage JAJ Pyrex 7oz Drinkups (clear thin glass cups with grey plastic handled holders), no. 403 015, by James A. Jobling & Co. Ltd., Wear Glass Works, Sunderland, in their original box with all four original printed guarantee papers. Each cup measures approximately 7.5cm (2.95in) in height and 7.8cm (3.05in) in diameter (max, excluding handle), with the JAJ crown trademark etched to the base of the glass and moulded to the base of the holder; the box, which measures approximately 20.8 x 19.1 x 8.6cm (8.2 x 7.5 x 3.4in), has a part-cutout, part folding lid to allow for display of the contents. There is some scratching and scuffing to the holders with some roughness to the edges; there are some scratches and marks to the glass, with imperfections including a small sharpish point to the rim of one cup (see photo), a smaller smooth bump to the rim of each of the other cups, occasional air bubbles and some horizontal lines in the glass; there is some age wear, marking and slight discoloration to the box.
