A vintage JAJ Pyrex casserole dish, c.1950s-60s, in white with transfer design of stylised exotic vegetables to both sides, measuring approximately 19.75cm (7.8in) in diameter at top (excluding handles) and 6.6cm (2.6in) deep, complete with clear Pyrex lid of similar vintage (approximately 2.5cm / 1in deep). Both casserole and lid feature the Jobling "JAJ / MADE IN ENGLAND" crown mark, together with the number "509" in the case of the former; the latter is marked "1B" to the side of one handle. There are numerous scratches to the interior of the casserole (and some to the exterior), together with marks and age wear including slight wear to transfers, a smallish area of shallow chipping to an upper corner of one of the handles, and slight manufacturing irregularities. The lid, meanwhile, has a few scratches, marks, slight roughness to edges in places, and irregularities including a wavy pattern in a ring halfway between the upper edge and centre.
