A vintage (1963 or later) Price Kensington Cottage Ware handpainted mug (with yellowish greenery), measuring approximately 9.8cm (3.85in) in height and 8.1cm (3.2in) in diameter at the top; the base bears a standard green printed Price Kensington stamp (as used from 1963) together with a small brown painted mark, and is impressed "MADE IN ENGLAND / P & K". There are some slight surface scratches, and there are two short, narrow unglazed patches to the rim together with a small nibble or rough spot which may date from manufacture; there are some imperfections in the glaze including pinholes to the greenery.
