A vintage (1963 or later) Price Kensington Cottage Ware handpainted money box / piggy bank, measuring approximately 12cm (4.7in) in height and 11.8 x 8.9cm (4.65 x 3.5in) at the base, with twin coin slots each measuring approximately 3.7 x 0.5cm (1.45 x 0.2in - large enough for standard UK coinage). The base, which bears a standard green printed Price Kensington stamp (as used from 1963) together with a brown painted "C", and is impressed "MADE IN ENGLAND / P&K.", has a round hole (approximately 3.3cm / 1.3in in diameter) for a stopper (not included). There is crazing to the surface throughout, and there is a small chip or large nibble to the base edge together with a few scratches and slight scuffs; there are various manufacturing imperfections including small lumps, spot marks and pinholes in the glaze.
