A vintage (1963 or earlier) Price Bros Cottage Ware handpainted milk jug / creamer, measuring approximately 7.1cm (2.8in) in height and 7.5 x 7.5cm (2.95 x 2.95in) at the base, which bears a partially blurred standard dark grey printed Price Bros stamp (as used up to 1963) and is somewhat faintly embossed "MADE / IN / ENGLAND". The surface is finely crazed throughout with brown staining to the base of the interior and around the upper edges, pouring lip and outer rim, together with occasional scratches; there are various manufacturing imperfections including small lumps and spot marks in the glaze.
