A complete set of Waddingtons standard-size playing cards (including one Joker) with original box, c.1930s-50s, advertising Player's Navy Cut cigarettes, with pictorial design featuring a glamorous lady smoking a cigarette with the slogan "Player's Please".  The box, which measures approximately 6.1 x 9.5 x 2cm (2.4 x 3.75 x 0.8in), has a sample card glued to one side.  The cards have been used but are in good condition overall with some discoloration, occasional marks and a couple of light creases; there is some age wear including marking and bumping to the box.
