A "Player's Navy Cut" cigarette tin (empty) with hinged lid, c.1920s-30s, measuring approximately 15.3 x 11 x 1.7cm (6 x 4.35 x 0.65in), which originally contained 50 "medium" cigarettes; the interior of the lid has a gilt finish with printed signature and lifebelt trade marks. There are numerous small rust patches to the exterior (especially the lid), together with scratches, scuffing, a few patches of print loss and a few small dents / dings; the interior has a few rust patches, together with some tarnishing and scratching.
