A Player's cigarettes advertising round pottery dish or change tray by the Empire Porcelain Co., 1961, in white and kingfisher blue with blue transfer slogan "Smoke PLAYER'S cigarettes", measuring approximately 12cm (4.7in) in diameter and 2.9cm (1.15in) deep; the base bears a transfer-printed mark consisting of the monogram "ep" in blue with the words "Staffordshire / England" in black, together with the printed date code "7-61". There is considerable age wear including numerous scratches and some marks to the surface, some wear to the transfer lettering, wear to the foot and a large nibble to the outer rim; there are some areas of crazing to the interior, whilst there are various manufacturing imperfections.
