A tube of "Pearson's Magnesia & Peroxide Dental Cream", c.1930s, made by Pearsons Products, London, in its original Art Deco carton. The carton, which measures approximately 13 x 4.2 x 2.8cm (5.1 x 1.65 x 1.1in), is much discoloured, marked, worn and creased, and one or more of the inner flaps may be detached or loose. The tube itself is corroded and discoloured, with fading to the printing in places; although it appears never to have been opened, its original contents will probably be rock-solid by now!
