A pair of late Victorian off-white opalescent glass vases with painted / gilt autumn leaves design, each measuring approximately 20cm (7.85in) in height and 6cm (2.35in) in diameter at the base. Each vase has a largish chip to the outer rim (the photo shows the larger of these chips), whilst one also has a smaller chip and two fleabites, the other a single fleabite; there is some wear to the gilding (one vase shows traces of gilt to the neck rings and rim, whereas the other does not), although the painted portion of the decoration remains in good condition for its age. There are some manufacturing irregularities in the glass, including a few internal grey patches.
