An ornamental porcelain boot, probably late Victorian or Edwardian, in cream glaze with delicate applied rose and leaf decoration to the front, measuring approximately 6cm (2.35in) tall, 10.6cm (4.15in) long and 4.7cm (1.85in) wide; there are a couple of incised marks to the base, one of which appears to be the number "46". The main body of the boot is in good condition, although there is some paint loss and chipping / nibbling to the applied decoration; there are some minor manufacturing irregularities including slight roughness to the edges and pinholes and spot marks in the glaze to the interior.
