An original vintage calendar from 1948, measuring approximately 20.9 x 26.1cm / 8.25 x 10.3in (plus calendar tab), with a large black and white photographic illustration entitled "Wire Haired Terriers", mounted on brown and green patterned card. This is one of many original 1948 calendars of various designs which we have acquired as a job lot. These calendars are old shop stock and therefore unused, although they are not in mint condition, having been stored for many years in less-than-ideal conditions; they therefore have slight marking and discoloration to the front and marking to the back, together with bumping to edges and corners and some warping to the card. They nevertheless remain reasonably presentable, and would provide an authentic finishing touch to a period room setting, or could be framed, without the calendars, as pictures.
