An original vintage calendar from 1948, measuring approximately 20.9 x 26.1cm (plus calendar tab), with a large black and white photographic illustration entitled "Wire Haired Terriers", mounted on brown and green patterned card. This is one of many original 1948 calendars of various designs which we have recently acquired as a job lot. These calendars are old shop stock and therefore unused, although they are not in mint condition, having been stored for many years in less-than-ideal conditions; they therefore have slight marking and discoloration to the front and marking to the back, together with bumping to edges and corners and some warping to the card. They nevertheless remain reasonably presentable, and would therefore make ideal and unusual gifts for anyone celebrating their 60th birthday or anniversary this year; alternatively, they would provide an authentic finishing touch to a period room setting, or could be framed, without the calendars, as pictures. (Please note that, as we have more than one calendar of this design in stock, the calendar shown in the picture may not be the exact calendar that you will receive, and that the exact condition may therefore differ from that shown in the photo.)
