Original 1948 calendar - "Where Wild Hyacinths Grow" (riverside landscape print on plain card)

An original vintage calendar from 1948, measuring approximately 16.2 x 12.3cm / 6.4 x 4.85in (plus calendar tab), with a colour picture of a riverside scene entitled "Where Wild Hyacinths Grow", printed on plain card.  This is one of many original 1948 calendars of various designs which we have acquired as a job lot.  These calendars are old shop stock and therefore unused, although they are not in mint condition, having been stored for many years in less-than-ideal conditions; this one therefore has slight warping to the board, slight wear and marking to the picture, slight wear to edges and bumping to corners with some delamination to the top right corner, and slight marking to the back and to the calendar tab.  These calendars nevertheless remain reasonably presentable, and would provide an authentic finishing touch to a period room setting.
