Original 1948 calendar - "Their Golden Wedding Day" (historical interior scene print on plain card)

An original vintage calendar from 1948, measuring approximately 16.2 x 12.3cm / 6.4 x 4.85in (plus calendar tab), with a colour picture of an eighteenth century living room scene entitled "Their Golden Wedding Day", printed on plain card.  This is one of many original 1948 calendars of various designs which we have acquired as a job lot.  These calendars are old shop stock and therefore unused, although they are not in mint condition, having been stored for many years in less-than-ideal conditions; this one therefore has slight warping to the board, slight wear to the surface and edges of the picture, some bumping to corners, marking and discoloration to the back, and very slight marking to the calendar tab.  These calendars nevertheless remain reasonably presentable, and would provide an authentic finishing touch to a period room setting.  (Please note that we have two calendars of this design; the back of one of them differs from that shown in the photo.)
