An original vintage calendar from 1948, measuring approximately 20.9 x 17.5cm / 8.25 x 6.9in (plus calendar tab), with a colour picture of pink, purple and white flowers in a brandy glass, printed on card. This is one of many original 1948 calendars of various designs which we have acquired as a job lot. These calendars are old shop stock and therefore unused, although they are not in mint condition, having been stored for many years in less-than-ideal conditions; this one therefore has some bumping to edges and corners, and creasing to corners (especially the top right), together with some surface wear to the picture and marking to the back, whilst the metal hanging hook is rusty. These calendars nevertheless remain reasonably presentable, and would provide an authentic finishing touch to a period room setting.
