Original 1947 calendar - red and yellow roses (floral still life print on plain card)

An original vintage calendar from 1947, measuring approximately 12.4 x 16.2cm / 4.9 x 6.4in (plus calendar tab), with a colour still life print depicting red and yellow roses, printed on plain card; the signature "LESLIE S. B. HARRIES" is clearly visible.  This is one of a group of original 1947 calendars of various designs which we have acquired as a job lot.  These calendars are old shop stock and therefore unused, although they are not in mint condition, having been stored for many years in less-than-ideal conditions.  This particular calendar therefore has some edge wear and slight surface wear, and may have slightly discoloured with age, whilst there is some fraying to the pale green hanging ribbon; the calendar tab cover is slightly marked although the tab itself is in good condition apart from slight age discoloration.
