An original vintage calendar from 1947, measuring approximately 12.4 x 16.1cm / 4.9 x 6.35in (plus calendar tab), with a colour picture of two spaniels, entitled "Eager to Go", printed on plain card. This is one of a group of original 1947 calendars of various designs which we have acquired as a job lot. These calendars are old shop stock and therefore unused, although they are not in mint condition, having been stored for many years in less-than-ideal conditions. This particular calendar therefore has some edge wear, bumping to the corners and tiny spots of surface wear, and may have discoloured with age, whilst there is some marking and ingrained dirt to the back; the calendar tab cover is slightly worn and marked although the tab itself is in good condition apart from slight age discoloration; there is some fraying and discoloration to the pale green ribbon hanger.
