A bottle of Meltonian Silver Shoe Dressing, dating from the 1950s (the Royal Warrant reads "By appointment to the late King George VI"), with its original carton, which measures approximately 8 x 4.2 x 2.4cm (3.15 x 1.65 x 0.95in). The carton is discoloured with various marks (including a splash of the silvery contents to the lid) and slight damage to the surface of the base; the lid has the original price (2/-) written on it. The label of the bottle inside is slightly discoloured / mottled, and has a crease (with very slight tearing) to the bottom; the remainder of the contents have solidified.
