Meltonian advertising brush for suede shoes, c.1930s (SOLD)

A c.1930s wood-handled brush with gilt wire bristles, the back of which is stamped "USE Meltonian for Suede Shoes / BRITISH MAKE".  The brush, which measures approximately 15.5cm (6.1in) long, has some wear to the bristles, and age wear including rubbing, scuffing and other marks to the wood.
