Mdina glass bird paperweight

A chunky Mdina glass bird paperweight, approximately 11.1cm tall, the body in deep blue glass with yellow veining, cased in clear glass.  Dating from the 1970s or later, it is in very good condition apart from a few scratches to the base and some tiny nibbles to the edge of the base (perhaps dating from manufacture); there are numerous tiny air bubbles and other manufacturing irregularities.
