Manikin Cigars tin (J. R. Freeman & Son), late 1930s

A late 1930s Manikin Cigars tin (empty) with hinged lid, by J. R. Freeman & Son Ltd, measuring approximately 15.7 x 9 x 1.1cm (6.2 x 3.55 x 0.45in).  The tin, which is printed in a plain design with a winged horse trademark, has had its lid written on on both sides (in ink to the interior, probably in pencil to the exterior); in addition, there is some wear to the exterior including a few scratches, marks and slight print loss, whilst the interior has tarnish and marks (which appear to be scratched letters).
