Children's story book with board covers and red cloth spine, 140pp plus three colour plates (we believe there was originally a fourth, which is now missing), measuring approximately 19.8 x 26.6 x 3.4cm (7.8 x 10.45 x 1.35in). This book, with front cover design depicting three children in bathing costumes, one sitting upon a ladder and sprinkling water from a can upon the other two, contains stories by various authors, including "From Castle to Cottage" by Margaret Turvey and "Wizard Woggle-Eyes' Bargain Sale" by May Sullivan, with some black and white illustrations, plus a couple of poems and a couple of cartoons. No dustjacket; the cover is marked and discoloured with age wear including scratches, scuffs, indentations, small patches of surface damage, and wear and bumping to the edges and corners, whilst there is some discoloration, marking and fading to the spine; the pages are browned with tanning to the edges, together with some marks, tears, creases, and edge and corner wear.
