An original vintage double-sided enamel sign advertising "Lyons Tea", c.1930s, in deep blue with orange border and white lettering, with flange mount to one side, measuring approximately 38 x 28cm (15 x 11in) excluding mount. The mounting flange is somewhat rusty (although still perfectly strong), and is currently bent out of shape, and so the purchaser will need to straighten it out at the desired angle prior to hanging the sign; the sign itself is bent very slightly out of true. There is some chipping around the edges of the sign with some rust to the exposed metal and networks of fine cracks in the enamel radiating from the chipping in places, plus a smallish circular surface chip to the right of the letter "A" on one side (although the lettering is unchipped), together with surface wear including slight weathering to the enamel in places, numerous scratches, scuffs and slight marks.
