Lore Cowan, "Let's Love Fish: 444 Ways of Cooking Fish" (London, Macdonald & Co., 1966).  Hardcover (black cloth boards) with original dustjacket, 253pp, measuring approximately 15.4 x 22.2 x 2.7cm (6.05 x 8.75 x 1.05in).  "This book, devoted as it is entirely to the cooking and serving of fish, ...gives the enterprising young housewife scope to be adventurous, and the opportunity both to have fun cooking fish and to enjoy eating it."  The dustjacket is very much marked and discoloured with fading to the spine and considerable wear including tearing, bumping, creasing and some paper loss (mainly to the spine), and has at some stage stuck to the cover in places; the cover has some paper from the inside of the dustjacket stuck to the bottom right front corner, together with some surface wear and marking, slight bumping and a small crease to the top of the spine; the pages are yellowed with foxing to the endpapers and end pages, other occasional marks, slight bumping to edges and corners and slight reading wear.  The book nonetheless remains complete and usable as a working or reference copy.
