A modern (probably post-1960s) Lenox China ornamental "wicker bowl", measuring approximately 8.6cm (3.4in) in height and 18cm (7.1in) in diameter at the top (average - it is not quite truly circular), in ivory / pale cream glaze with gold rim and gold band to the lower exterior, diamond-shaped piercing to the sides, and moulded basket-weave design to the base of the interior; the base bears a gilt stamp with the letter "L" inside a wreath, copyright and registration symbols, and the words "LENOX / MADE IN U.S.A", and retains the original gold paper sticker which reads "LENOX CHINA / WICKER / BOWL / Hand decorated / with 24K gold". There is considerable abrasion to the surface of the base of the interior together with a few scratches and spots of abrasion to the surface elsewhere, whilst there is some marking and slight nibbling (probably dating from manufacture) to the foot, although the gold remains in good condition; there is some slight roughness and unevenness to the edges of the piercings, together with one or two other minor imperfections in the glaze including a tiny pinhole to the exterior just above the foot.
