Large vintage chocolate box (embossed old gold card with red ribbon), c.1950s

A c.1950s vintage chocolate box (empty), measuring approximately 36.7 x 23.4 x 3.6cm (14.45 x 9.2 x 1.4in), with lid in old gold finish with embossed oak leaf and acorn pattern, together with red ribbon and bow; no brand name is visible.  The box has considerable age wear including discoloration, bumping to the edges and corners, tears to the side of the lid and the corners of the base, foxing and marks to the plain card interior and base, and marks and fading to the ribbon.
