A c.1930s biscuit or confectionery / toffee tin (empty) with hinged lid, measuring approximately 25.4 x 18.1 x 9cm (10 x 7.15 x 3.55in).  The tin, which bears no brand name, is printed to the lid with a waterside scene with cows and a sailing boat, entitled "Eventide" (after J. Tennant), and has a gilt finish to the sides and base.  There is considerable age wear including scratching, spotting, tarnish and small patches of print loss to the exterior, tarnish and some small rust patches and spots to the interior, and a few dents and dings (mostly to the base).
