A larger than average c.1930s-50s glass bowl light shade, of typically Art Deco shape, measuring approximately 29cm (11.4in) wide and 13cm (5.1in) deep. The glass is internally textured although externally smooth, and is deep pink in colour albeit with clear gaps in between the texturing, giving a finely mottled appearance. There are two double gilt bands (with some wear), together with very slight traces of further bands towards the base (just visible in the photo). The glass is in good condition apart from the usual nibbles to the edge, together with a few small paint and other marks, mostly to the interior. The original hooks, however, are rusty, whilst there is some corrosion to the original chains (each approximately 43cm / 16.95in long, although not quite equal in length). Please note that another shade of same design, but different colour, is also available.
