A Knight's Tintagel studio pottery vase, in black glaze with a shallow horizontal ribbed pattern, measuring approximately 14.3cm in height and 6.4cm in diameter at the foot; the base is marked "KNIGHT / TINTAGEL / 26". (Knight's Pottery, Tintagel, was run by Leonard Knight between the late 1940s and the 1980s.) There is a small chip to the rim, together with a few minor scratches. As might be expected with a studio piece of this nature, there are some slight irregularities, including some roughness to the rim.
