Ken Dodd (in collaboration with Dave Dutton and Hal Dootson, illustrated by Bill Tidy), "Ken Dodd's Butty Book" (London and Basingstoke, Macmillan London Limited, 1977; ISBN 0 333 23282 8).  Softcover, 95pp, measuring approximately 18.8 x 24.5 x 1.1cm (7.4 x 9.65 x 0.45in).  The well-known comedian writes: "As a lifelong student and devotee of the Knotty Ash Academy of Buttyology (Buttyology = the study of good sandwich-making), I feel sure that the many suggestions contained in this tattyfilarious tome will brighten up your butties, add relish to your parties and tickle up your tastebuds.  So get your teeth into this little lot...."  No dustjacket; the cover is marked and discoloured with scratches, scuffs and pressure marks, wear and creasing to the spine, wear to edges and bumping to corners; the pages are slightly discoloured with a little foxing, some edge wear and slight bumping to corners.
