June Beauty Powder, by Saville, London, c.1910-30

A small round cardboard container of "June Beauty Powder", by Saville, London, c.1910-30, with pictorial design to the lid, measuring approximately 5.4cm (2.15in) in diameter and 2.4cm (0.95in) deep; to the base is a small label marked "RACHEL".  The original powder puff is still present, together with some of the original contents.  There is considerable discoloration, marking and general age wear, including creasing, tearing and bumping to the lid label, whilst the base has been pressed in, resulting in tearing and creasing around half of the underside edge.
