A carnival glass bowl by Imperial, c.1910-30, in the "Starspray" pattern, in marigold with a fair amount of iridescence, measuring approximately 16.1cm (6.35in) in diameter and 5.7cm (2.25in) in height. The finely moulded design is concave to the exterior sides, producing an attractive effect when seen from above. One of the "points" to the edge is incomplete; this, however, is more visible when seen from below than from above, and, being smoothly finished, clearly dates from manufacture. There are a few other smaller manufacturing irregularities, including a short fault line (about 1cm / 0.4in long) with small adjoining fleabite to the interior surface near the edge, together with a few other tiny fleabites, and some wear / scratching to the interior surface.
