A lovely small round carnival glass bowl by Imperial, c.1910-30, measuring approximately 12.3cm (4.85in) in diameter and 5.7cm (2.25in) deep, in "Scroll Embossed" pattern with "File" exterior, in purple or amethyst glass with a good degree of attractive irridescence both inside and out. There is slight surface wear including small patches and spots of abrasion to the lower interior and rim, together with manufacturing imperfections including a "straw mark" to the interior, some roughness to the moulding seam lines, tiny bumps to the surface and numerous small air bubbles.
