Imitation tortoiseshell celluloid gents' hair brushes x 3, c.1930s (SOLD)

Three c.1930s vintage gents' rectangular hair brushes, each measuring approximately 18cm (7.1in) in length, with backs covered in sheet celluloid in imitation of tortoiseshell.  The top two brushes have straight edges and shiny surfaces, whilst the other has rounded edges and is not so shiny; the middle brush has a large number of small yellow spots forming part of the pattern within the plastic, whilst the bottom one has just a few.  The middle brush is unmarked, whilst the other two are stamped "MADE IN ENGLAND" to one side and "WARRANTED ALL BRISTLE" to the other.  All three have a few scratches and scuffs to the celluloid surface, together with slight to moderate wear to the bristles; of the three, the top two brushes are in the best condition.
