A c.1930s powder bowl, made of sheet celluloid in imitation of mother of pearl, and measuring approximately 5cm in height excluding the lid and 13cm in diameter (maximum); the base is not marked, but the shape and size are identical to bowls made by Halex. The plastic may have yellowed with age, and there are some short hairline cracks to the exterior, together with some small marks, scratches and general age wear.
