A c.1920s packet of eight 4.5 x 2.75 inch (approximately 11.4 x 7cm) sheets of Illingworth's "Slogas Gaslight Paper" (photographic paper), by T. Illingworth & Co. Ltd., Willesden Junction, London N.W.10, the packet measuring approximately 13.3 x 8.9cm (5.25 x 3.5in). There is some age wear to the packet including marks, bumping and creasing to the corners; part of the end label has been torn off, leaving a small gap at the end of the packet, although it does not appear to have been fully opened. In view of the age of the contents, as well as the gap at the end of the packet (which will have let in light), this is sold not for use, but as a collector's item - with its distinctive label design, depicting early electric and gas lamps, it would certainly look good in a collection of early packaging or photographic items!
