"Ideal" nickel-plated flat iron shield in original box, c.1920s

"Ideal" nickel-plated iron shield, c.1920s, in its original box.  Intended for pre-electric flat (or sad) irons up to size 7.  The box is somewhat scruffy, dirty and torn.  The shield itself, however, is in good condition apart from a few rust patches - indeed, it may never have been used!
