HOW TO ORDER

Your Shopping Cart (or Trolley, or Basket)

Before placing your order with us, you will need to add the item(s) you wish to purchase to your Shopping Cart by clicking the "Add to Cart" button which will be found to the right of the shop price of each item (unless already sold).  This will take you to a page entitled "Your Shopping Cart", in which the item will appear.  If you wish to order more than one of that particular item (and we have more than one in stock), please enter the number required in the box marked "Qty" and click the "Update Cart" button at the bottom of the page.  To return to the shop to browse further, click the "Continue Shopping" button; you may add as many items to your cart as you like.  You may remove any item from the cart by clicking the word "Remove" (or the little red cross next to it) below that item.  When you have finished shopping, please click on the word "basket" (next to the shopping bag symbol at the top right of each page), check that the contents of the cart are as they should be, and click the "Checkout" button to place your order and arrange payment.  Before proceeding to the Checkout, please ensure that you have read, and that you agree with, our Terms and Conditions and Privacy and Cookies Policy.

Checkout

When you enter the Checkout, you will be asked to fill in your name, address and contact details for billing, and the name and address of the person to whom the order is to be delivered, in the spaces provided.  If your delivery details are the same as your billing details, please fill in the billing details only, tick (check) the box marked "Same as Billing", and leave the delivery details blank.  Once you have entered all the relevant details (which will be held securely, in accordance with our Privacy Policy), please click the "Continue" button; you will then be given the payment options described below.

How to pay

Customers within the United Kingdom are welcome to pay by cheque, postal order, or credit / debit card via PayPal (or from the balance of an existing PayPal account).  We regret that we cannot accept cheques issued by non-UK banks, or in any currency other than pounds sterling (£GBP), owing to heavy bank charges; customers from outside the United Kingdom must therefore pay by credit card / debit card / PayPal, unless they hold an account with an UK bank upon which cheques (in £GBP) can be drawn.  We do NOT recommend that you send cash through the post; if you choose to do so, it will be at your own risk.

If you wish to pay by cheque or postal order, please click "Pay by Cheque"; you will be given instructions as to where to send your payment, and who to make it payable to.

If you wish to pay by credit / debit card, please click the "PayPal and credit / debit cards" button, which will take you to the PayPal secure site.  From here you may pay by credit card (you will not need to have or to open a PayPal account, although you will need to give your card details and e-mail address); alternatively, you may log on to your existing PayPal account and make your payment from your existing account balance.  PayPal is an easy and convenient way to pay online, and is much used by smaller-scale online businesses and by buyers and sellers on online auction sites such as eBay; more importantly, it is also safe and secure, since the customer's credit card and bank details cannot be seen by the recipient of the payment.  Please see the PayPal website for more information.

Non-checkout orders (UK customers only)

If you wish to order from us, but would rather not order through our online checkout system - for instance, if you are unfamiliar with online shopping, or with computers in general - and are happy to pay by cheque or postal order, you may contact us by phone or email to place your order; please see our Contact Us page for contact details.  (We regret that in practice this will apply to UK customers only, since those who are unfamiliar with online shopping are unlikely to be familiar with PayPal, which is the only payment method we are able to accept from non-UK customers.)

Important information for non-UK customers

All prices include postage and packing within the United Kingdom only; customers from outside the United Kingdom are therefore asked to contact us for overseas shipping costs before placing their order.  Although we welcome orders from outside the UK, and can ship most items overseas, non-UK customers should note that:

(a) The cost of shipping large, heavy and/or bulky items overseas is likely to be high, and may well be prohibitive where the items concerned are of low market value;

(b) Customs and/or import duties may be payable within the country of destination;

(c) The customs and/or postal regulations of the destination country may disallow importation or delivery of certain items;

(d) We can only usually accept payment via credit card / debit card / PayPal for overseas orders (see "How to pay", above).

The currency converter (at the top left of each page) will convert all our shop prices into Euros or US Dollars at current exchange rates; all payments, however, should be made in pounds sterling (£GBP).
