Hornsea Fauna Royal "Buddies" vase with bunny and fawn (no. 86), c.1950s

A c.1950s Hornsea Fauna Royal vase in the shape of a tree trunk, with a small bunny rabbit and fawn (baby deer) attached to the front; the word "Buddies" is impressed or incised to the back.  To the base appears the black printed Hornsea rebus mark with the words "FAUNA ROYAL", together with the impressed number "86".  The vase is approximately 18cm tall, and 11 x 10.8cm (max) at the base; the bunny is approximately 6.8cm tall.  Apart from some age marking to the foot and the occasional light scratch, it is in very good condition, although there are a few tiny pinholes and other minor irregularities in the glaze.
