A c.1950s vintage Hornsea pottery posy vase / trough, in the shape of a log with a large lamb and small bunny rabbit (both standing) attached to the front; the base bears the black printed Hornsea rebus mark together with the impressed number "106". The vase measures approximately 20.5cm (8.05in) across at the base and 9.6cm (3.8in) in depth at the centre of the base; the lamb stands approximately 8cm (3.15in) tall. The lamb has a very tiny nibble or rough patch to its left ear; there is some crazing to much of the surface, together with some marking to the interior, a few scratches, age marking to the foot, and a few small manufacturing irregularities.
