A small vintage Hornsea "Bronte" jug, probably for oil or vinegar, measuring approximately 9cm (3.55in) tall and 6.9cm (2.7in) in diameter, in shiny golden brown and greyish-green glaze; the printed stamp to the base incorporates the date 1976, and the piece is typically 1970s in style. It would probably have originally had a stopper, which is no longer present. There is a small defect or knock (measuring approximately 0.6 x 0.2cm / 0.25 x 0.1in) to the exterior near the base, together with some age wear / scratching (mostly to the "ledge" at the centre) and very slight marking to the foot.
