An early 20th century crested china model of a gas stove with "Great Yarmouth" crest to one side, modelled stove door and hob, and gilt trim, measuring approximately 7 x 3.9 x 4cm (2.75 x 1.55 x 1.55in); it is marked to the base with a black printed stamp which reads "S. HANCOCK & SON / ENGLISH MANUFACTURE / THE "CORONA" CHINA / ENGLAND", with a small red painted mark in the centre (parts of this transfer mark are faint or absent, and there are adjacent fragments of an identical mark). The red and blue portions of the crest are thickly applied, and appear to be handpainted; the feet are unglazed. There is considerable wear to the gilt and slight wear to the crest, together with slight irregularities in the modelling, a few tiny spot marks, and some very light scratching.
