A c.1930s Halex powder bowl, made of transparent sheet celluloid in imitation of tortoiseshell, and measuring approximately 5cm (1.95in) in height (excluding lid) and 13cm (5.1in) in diameter; the base is stamped "HALEX / MADE IN ENGLAND".  There are some scratches, scuffs and general age wear to the surface.
