Halex imitation tortoiseshell celluloid powder bowl, c.1930s

A c.1930s Halex powder bowl, made of transparent sheet celluloid in imitation of tortoiseshell, and measuring approximately 5cm in height excluding the lid and 13cm in diameter (maximum); the base is stamped "HALEX / MADE IN ENGLAND".  There are some scratches, scuffs and general age wear to the surface.
