A W. H. Goss crested china model of a twin-handled cinerary urn with "Lynton" crest and gilt rim, measuring approximately 5.5cm (2.15in) in height and 4.2cm (1.65in) in diameter at the top; the base is marked with the black printed Goshawk mark with the description "MODEL OF / CINERARY URN / FOUND AT GLEN DORGAL / NOW IN TRURO MUSEUM / RD. NO. 594376" together with a painted mark and an old price in pencil. There is a short hairline crack (approximately 0.7cm / 0.3in long) to the rim to the right of the crest, together with a few light surface scratches and some age marking to the base, although the crest and gilt are both in good condition; there are some manufacturing imperfections including numerous pinhole marks in the glaze.
