Glass flue for Aladdin radiator, in original box, c.1950s (SOLD)

A glass flue for use with "Aladdin" radiators / heaters (patent no. 534, 423), by Aladdin Industries Ltd, Greenford, Middlesex, in its original box, c.1950s.  The flue itself measures approximately 7.6cm (3in) tall (excluding the shallow fixing lugs) and 6.9cm (2.7in) in diameter at the base; it is in good condition apart from some roughness / nibbling (probably dating from manufacture) to the upper edge, but would need to be cleaned before use.  The box, which measures approximately 8.3 x 8.3 x 9.3cm (3.25 x 3.25 x 3.65in), has a pre-decimal price written in pencil to one side and a later price in ballpoint to the top; otherwise, apart from some creasing and tearing to the fastening tabs, it is in good condition for its age.
