First edition, marbled-effect board cover with blue cloth spine, 132pp (plus title and contents pages and preface), measuring approximately 12.8 x 18.8 x 1.8cm (5.05 x 7.4 x 0.7in). No dustjacket; there is some discoloration, marking, bumping and general age wear to the cover, and there is a previous owner's inscription in ink (with the date 1938) to the inside of the front cover, whilst the pages are tanned with some marking and/or foxing in places.
