Two c.1930s card wallets of Geo. W. Hughes "Bayard Life Lasting-Stainless Pens", with pictorial design of knight on horseback. Each wallet measures approximately 8.6 x 5.2cm (3.4 x 2.05in), and both are of the same design; however, one contains four nibs of different types, priced at 3d for the British market, whereas the other only contains three nibs, again of different kinds, and was originally priced at a nickel for the American market (although "nickel" has been scratched out). There is some creasing, bumping, marking and discoloration to the wallets, together with slight rust to the staples which hold the nibs in place; some of the nibs themselves, despite the "stainless" description, have slight rust marks.
