A late Victorian or early 20th century bell-shaped frosted glass lampshade / light shade for a gas or early electric ceiling or wall light, measuring approximately 13.5cm (5.3in) in height, 13.2cm (5.2in) in diameter at the base and about 7cm (2.75in) in diameter at the centre. Please note that the lampholder hole (which measures approximately 2.7cm / 1.05in in diameter) is slightly smaller than standard size, and as such is unlikely to fit a standard UK plastic pendant lampholder, although it may fit the metal equivalent. There are a couple of small chips to the lower edge, in addition to the usual nibbles to the lampholder hole (the latter not of course being visible when the shade is hung); there are also some fairly deep scratches and various small marks, together with occasional small air bubbles and a couple of unfrosted areas to the inner base edge.
